Jeanswest & Jeans for Genes

We're raising funds for Children's Medical Research Institute with a cause that's close to our heart.

From today until Monday, 5 August we're donating $10 from every pair of full price jeans purchased towards supporting medical research aimed at improving the lives of children affected by genetic disorders and birth defects.

Meet Amy, our Ambassador

This year we've partnered with former Australian competitive high jumper, model, presenter and brain tumour survivor Amy Pejkovic.

Her laid-back style, love of denim and first-hand experience with a life changing condition, makes her a passionate lead for our Jeans for Genes campaign.

Diagnosed with a brain tumour at age 19, Amy knows all about the life changing uncertainty and "each day as it comes" struggle, involved in receiving complex treatment.

"Raising funds for Jeans for Genes day is incredibly important to me as I can deeply relate to the challengers faced when being diagnosed with something life altering."

Amy was lucky. She beat her tumour and has gone on to compete as an athlete, building an impressive career as model and presenter. All thanks to successful medical treatment and the research that makes life saving treatments like hers possible.

Now she's stepping up to help 1 in 20 Australian children impacted by birth defects or genetic disorders. Funds raised for Jeans for Genes will contribute to Children's Medical Research Institute's pioneering research efforts focused on understanding and treating genetic conditions.

"Raising awareness and funds means we can give kids the chance to just be kids"

Grab a pair of Jeans and help transform lives through medical research this Jeans for Genes Day.
