You may have noticed our furry friend in our latest campaign shoot, the adorable Sebastian. When he’s not behind the camera, Sebastian and owner Suz keep busy with their ever-so-trendy pet accessory label ‘Sebastian Says’. We caught up with the stylish duo to talk all things fashion, dog walking and how the brand started…
Suz wears our Bianca Mid Waisted Skinny 7/8th Jean.
How long have you and Sebastian been business partners? How did Sebastian Says come to be?
Sebastian and I have been business partners for over two years now. Combining my love of macramé and my puppy Sebastian, I decided to create a macramé dog lead for him. My obsession for practical yet on-trend fashion pieces for my dog, then turned into a business where I could combine my style with my active lifestyle. We now design fashion knitwear for dogs that is on trend with the season along with personalised collars and printed dog bandanas and shirts.
You and Sebastian are quite active, what do you like to do when you’re not working?
We like to spend most of our time outdoors, walking along the beach and exploring parks. Our weekends consist of catching up with friends and family at local cafes or new dog-friendly hot spots. Sebastian is always by our side and he makes the best companion whether I’m working or off-duty.
We love your dog walking outfits, can you give us some key styling tips to stay comfy while looking cool?
I live in denim and it is important for me to wear comfortable pieces that take me from the office, to the park and to the cafes. I love to layer different pieces and believe it is very important to invest in knitwear and jackets that will be versatile for the season. I do admit to matching my outfit to be tonally complimentary with Sebastian’s ensemble.
You’ve put the new Bianca jeans to a test on a long walk, how did you find them?
They honestly felt really comfortable and super soft! Like my Freeform 360 jeans from two years ago (that I still wear on a regular basis), these new Bianca jeans will take top spot in my wardrobe.
Now that Spring is just around the corner, how are you tweaking your style to stay warm, and look to the season ahead?
It’s so easy to fall into an all-black trap during cold winter days, but you can stay warm in winter with whites and soft pinks too. I’ll still be wearing my favourite jeans into the new season whilst mixing and matching colours and textures to keep my style fresh and fun!
