SHOPPING ONLINE 101: THE BASICS
First time to online shopping? Or new to Jeanswest? Here’s some basics, hints & tips to get you started on a fashionably fun shopping experience with us.
Jeanswest is an Australian-originated retailer with over 230 stores across Australia and New Zealand, with a growing Franchise business in the likes of Fiji, PNG and other countries. We are owned by Glorious Sun Group who also operate over 3000 Jeanswest stores in China. When you are shopping online at jeanswest.com.au and jeanswest.co.nz, you are shopping with Jeanswest Australia. Except for items in our Clearance section or when you are specifically shopping from one of our Click & Collect store locations, we ship most items from our Online Warehouse in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
How to… Select items to buy
See it & love it? Click on it, select your size (we manufacture to Australian standard sizes; refer to our size charts for more info, especially if buying from overseas), and colour, if required, and select “Add to Bag”. You can see the number of items in your bag increase as you add them. You can review items in your bag by click on it in the top right corner.
Check out and pay
To check out, go to your Bag to review your items, select your delivery option and continue to check out. If you follow the prompts it easy, we promise! You’ll be prompted to add your billing and delivery address details, select your payment option, save your credit card details for convenience next time you shop if you like, and continue.
Jeanswest Reward Members get rewarded the more they shop, you can join any time before or during check out. Once registered be sure to log in before you pay. Read more about Jeanswest Rewards here.
How to choose your delivery option
Locally within Australia and New Zealand we offer a range of delivery options on items excluding Clearance. We ship with Australia Post, and offer Standard and Express Delivery. You can collect in-store or ship to your home/office or other nominated location. You can save your favourite delivery options in your account.
For International deliveries, at this stage we currently ship all order Australia Post Air Express. You can read more in our Payment & Deliveries section.
Changing my order
You can change your order while you're still browsing and shopping. Simply click the "Remove" button on the item you no longer want to buy in your Bag. Once your order has been confirmed, it's not possible to change or cancel it prior to despatch. The order will be sent to you, and if required you'll then need to return it. Refer to our Returns and Exchanges section for further information.
Can’t find an item?
Popular items may sell out quickly so be sure to grab it if you want it when you see it! If however it's been sold out online, visit or contact your local Jeanswest store to see if it's still available in one of our stores. You can find your nearest store and their phone numbers on our Store Locator or call customer service on 1800 888 759 (Australia) or 0800 448 415 (New Zealand).
JEANSWEST REWARD MEMBERS
There are lots of great reasons to become a Jeanswest Reward member. As a member, you’re eligible to receive discounts of up to 15% off full price items, both in-store and online:
- Become a Bronze level member and save 5% when you spend more than $150 in 12 months,
- Silver members save 10%. Simply spend more than $300 in 12 months,
- Gold members save 15% when you spend more than $600 in 12 months,
- Platinum members also save 15%. Platinum membership is by invitation only.
When logged in, all online purchases are automatically tracked to your member account and total spend. You can also get a Jeanswest Rewards card to track any in-store purchases. Provide your email account details to any Team Member in-store and they will provide you with a card linked to your account.
International members: note that all Reward spend levels are communicated in AUD. Your currency is converted in our Reward Program system. The currency calculator is reviewed regularly to ensure a fair exchange rate.

IN-STORE ORDERING SERVICE (“BUY ONLINE IN-STORE”)
Seen it online and Love it? Now you can buy it. Anywhere.
Some sizes and colours may sell out faster IN-STORE than others, and some stores due to size, may have a more selected range. If your favourite Jeanswest store doesn’t stock an item you love it doesn’t mean you need to miss out! Any item available online is available for your local store to order for you. You can have it delivered straight to your door, or back into store to pick up, try on and love. Our Core Jeans specialty leg lengths (Short, Long & Extra Long) are also available through this service. If it’s not what you expected, you can refund or exchange on the spot.
Delivery is free within Australia and New Zealand on orders over $75. International Orders are a flat rate of $20. Credit Card purchases only.
And of course, the service has the benefit of our always helpful team members.
BUY ONLINE, COLLECT IN-STORE
Jeanswest also enables customers to buy online and pick up at your favourite Jeanswest Store giving you the flexibility to try on your new purchases straight away, exchange or return items, with the help of our always friendly Team Members.
With this service, your selected items will be picked and shipped from our online warehouse to your nominated store. See details of delivery times here.
Unfortunately Clearance items or items marked as Hong Kong Clearance are not available for our collect in-store service.
You’ll receive an email when your order is ready to be picked up from your nominated store. Print and bring the email or show it on your smartphone. You will have 14 days to collect your order at your convenience.
We will also be trialling a Click & Collect service (from August 2015) at our Melbourne Central, Highpoint VIC, and Rundle Mall SA stores, making your order available for almost immediate collection within business hours. Read more about it below.
CLICK & COLLECT: SHOP YOUR FAVOURITE LOCAL STORE, ONLINE
From August 2015, Jeanswest will be trialling Click & Collect services at our Melbourne Central and Highpoint VIC and Rundle Mall, SA stores.
When shopping one of our selected Click & Collect stores, you are specifically browsing and buying from stock available in that store which means your items will be immediately available, once picked, for collection. Orders placed after hours (when the store is closed) will be picked when the store re-opens within an hour or so.
You will receive a confirmation email (Tax Invoice) on receipt of your order, and another email when your order is ready for collection. While we aim to get your order ready within an hour of receipt, to avoid disappointment and waiting, we encourage you to receive that confirmation before heading in-store. Print and bring your confirmation email or show it on your smartphone. You will have 14 days to collect your order at your convenience.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for, our online store may stock a broader range in our Warehouse, and you can use our Collect In-Store service to have it shipped, by Toll, to your selected store. Read more about it above.

What is Jeanswest’s lay-by policy?
Lay-by is not available online, but is available in all Jeanswest Australia and New Zealand stores with a 20% deposit. Lay-bys must be completed within 6 weeks. Ask in-store for details.
