A couple of points to keep in mind when creating your design:
‘What does Australia mean to you?’
It could be a feeling, a memory, a place, a thought…
We’re looking for creative and interesting designs which speak to theme in either an obvious or abstract way.
Think outside the square on what the theme means to you.
Prints/Designs can range from 1 spot colour print up to 4 colour process prints. It’s up to you.
Please no fancy inks or appliqués, flocking etc…We are wanting to showcase your designs and keep them pure – no flashy print techniques required!
Feel free to think beyond a centre front placement print, could be seam to seam, left chest, back print, lower panel etc.
Your canvas is a simple basic crew tee, the tee style cannot change or be redesigned, this is about your artwork, your design should do the talking.
All winning designs will be printed on a white, grey or light blue tee base. Designs/Graphics should work back with the Jeanswest colour palette for Summer. Please refer to the entry form for colour palette details.
When thinking about your design, try to think creatively and commercially. What do you think would sell well at Jeanswest? We are looking for fresh new ideas and designs that fit with our brand's DNA.
All designs/artwork should be submitted on the tee template provided.
As well as the artwork on its own.
Initial submissions should be sent to us as a JPG file – 150dpi.
Size of designs: For a simple centre front placement prints we would recommend designs that are no more than 32cm wide and up to 50cm high.
If a design was to run the entire width of front panel then the design would need to be 60cm wide. If a design was to run the entire length of front panel then the design would need to be 72cm high.
Final Art Submissions will either need to be a layered PSD/TIFF file at actual size – at least 300dpi or an Illustrator .AI or Vector PDF file. Any additional scan/s will also need to be supplied. All fonts used will need to be outlined.
